Jim’s involvement in automotive photography spans the last forty five years. Since graduating from RIT in 1976 he’s worked to create dynamic imagery for every domestic manufacturer and many of the European and Asian brands as well. Comfortable both on location and in the studio, whether it’s a local facility or a rental stage in Shanghai.
Diversifying into architectural photography twenty years ago allows Jim to combine his interest in design with his photographic workflow to capture the significant architecture that surrounds him. His ability to understand a designer’s intentions whether the subject is an automobile or an auditorium allows for images that are unexpected and instantly communicate to the viewer.
